The purpose of this community service is to enhance parental awareness and knowledge regarding the significance of well-rounded nutrition, offer practical education to address stunting, directly monitor the health status of stunted children, and facilitate the enhancement of nutrition and health among children in the area of Puskesmas (Health Center) Gayungan, South Surabaya. The program involved nutritionists from Puskesmas Gayungan Surabaya Selatan, Kader Surabaya Hebat, and also the community service team from the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur. During this community service initiative, the crew engaged in interactive visits to the residences of three children who were experiencing stunting. The objective of these visits was to conduct interviews with families regarding the correlation between economic circumstances and children's nutritional status, as well as to provide parents with information on the significance of appropriate nutrition for their children. The community service initiative successfully enhanced parental awareness and knowledge about the importance of balanced nutrition and provided practical education to address stunting. The team also was able to directly monitor the health status of these children and understand the impact of economic conditions on their nutritional status. As a result, the program contributed to improving the overall nutritional and health status of children in the community, highlighting the importance of education and financial support in addressing stunting.
