The Existence’s Artificial Intelligent of Patriotism, Pancasila, and National Defense Education in the Digitalization Era

Artificial Intelligence is a system that is developed and continues to innovate in the field of study that is made either on machines or computers that have the same or even more intelligence as humans. This study is urgent to understand the views and attitudes of lecturers and students towards ethics of using AI in campus environment, which are closely related to the values of defending country, nationality, and Pancasila as a moral and social foundation in the context of modern technology. The role of Pancasila as a moral and ethical guide in regulating the development and utilization of AI Technology in Indonesia. Pancasila is the philosophical foundation of the state that influences laws, regulations, and community behavior. The values of Pancasila, such as humanity, unity, and nationality, for defending the country in use of AI to ensure benefits and justice. The responsible use AI requires moral guidance that is in accordance the norms and moral principles of society. This study aims to determine perceptions lecturers and students towards use AI in terms of the theory of code ethics the lecturer profession. This study uses a qualitative method with an interpretive approach, using interviews and observations as data collection techniques. Lecturers ethics courses were selected as resource persons to obtain opinions on the national defense value of academic fraud activities in the university. The findings of this study show that perceptions of civitas are in line with the theory of moral development and the code of ethics of the lecturer profession, but the problem of the internal campus system is the main problem in fixing the culture of deviant behavior. In conclusion, the balance of soft skill and hard skill education must be fostered with religious teachings and character by educators.
