View 8th International Seminar of Research Month 2023

The 8th International Seminar of Research Month 2023, themed "Empowering Technology, Industrial, and Global Business for Accelerating Sustainable Development Goals," is an initiative organized by the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur. In the digital era, the advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in facilitating cross-industry collaborations. Such collaborations represent a prevailing trend across industries and business sectors aimed at gaining or maintaining a competitive edge in the global market. Beyond the global market, the willingness to collaborate also serves as a beacon of hope in our current VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world. Technology, industrial development, health and well-being, economic prosperity, and global business are intriguing issues worthy of exploration from various perspectives and disciplinary backgrounds. Consequently, these issues serve as the focal point of the 8th International Seminar of Research Month (ISRM) held this year.

The post-pandemic economic resurgence is paramount, necessitating innovation, adaptation, collaboration, and digitalization in research and community service across commercial and non-commercial sectors. Collaborative efforts and insights from academia, government, industry, and society can effectively bolster the post-pandemic economy and societal well-being.

ISRM stands as an annual international seminar series organized by the Research and Community Service Institution (RCSI) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Serving as a platform for presenting and discussing various research and innovations, ISRM facilitates the exchange of ideas among academic experts, students, researchers, and professionals. ISRM 2023 endeavors to invite multidisciplinary academics, students (both undergraduate and postgraduate), researchers, and professionals to disseminate their latest scientific findings, present their works, and forge future networking opportunities among local and global participants.
