Abstract

Kampung Pancasila is a predicate given by the local government at the city/district level or the central government of the Republic of Indonesia to the local government at the sub-district/village level because it has succeeded in reflecting the values of Pancasila in everyday collective life. This also serves as an affirmation that the values of Pancasila national defense do exist in the lives of local communities in the regions, especially in rural areas. This research is a study of how the values of national defense in Pancasila can provide social welfare for local communities in rural areas. This research links the values of Pancasila to the concept of tourism villages and specifically has a research object location in Trenggalek, East Java. The research team assumes that with the existence of tourism values (sapta pesona) in each tourism village, the tourism village has actually brought the character of a village closer to the predicate of Kampung Pancasila with each locale. This research study uses a qualitative approach with observation and interview data collection techniques and is supplemented with previous research literature. In addition to involving a multidisciplinary research team. The main objective of this study is to map the feasibility of tourism villages in order to obtain the Kampung Pancasila predicate as a reinforcement of regional status.
