Legal Protection in Sustainable Agricultural Land Management in Denpasar Bali as a Tourism Area

Sustainable agricultural land in Denpasar, which is usually referred to in Bali Province as Subak, is one of the livelihoods of the surrounding community. This can be seen in the current situation in Bali Province, where there are still many areas that continue to preserve agriculture as one of the livelihoods of the surrounding community, but there are also those that have changed into tourism areas including Denpasar. These two sectors are sectors that are closely related to the source of income in Bali Province. However, the existence of the tourism sector is one of the sectors that can also hinder the management of agricultural land, due to many factors, one of which is that agricultural land is replaced by the construction of hotel areas, apartments, guest houses, and other tourist attractions, causing agricultural land areas to decrease. From these constraints, it is necessary to have legal protection in the management of sustainable agricultural land where the purpose of legal protection is to harmonize the two sectors, both the agricultural sector and the tourism sector. This analysis is also made to be able to see related legal protection to control sustainable agricultural land management in Denpasar to be able to preserve both sectors of agriculture and tourism without having to eliminate one of these sectors. This research also uses qualitative methods and naturalistic analysis with observation and also data collection which is the object of analysis. In addition, this analysis is also studied using a statutory approach and conceptual approach to be able to support information about legal protection for sustainable agricultural land management in Denpasar. The existence of legal protection is needed so that later agricultural land can be protected for its utilization which is to be able to become sustainable agriculture in the future.
