Maluku Province is one of Indonesia's largest archipelagic regions. Faculty of Medicine of Pattimura University, founded in 2008, is the only Faculty of Medicine in Maluku Province with a superior program of island medicine. This Faculty is also responsible for disseminating various medical and health research findings from national and international researchers. The Faculty of Medicine at Pattimura University initiated an international conference with the scope of health and medicine to encourage discussions on new discoveries or techniques. This initiative allows researchers to collaborate and combine fundamental and applied sciences as a challenge to improve health based on the geographic conditions of the islands. Aim: Disseminate various research results at the national and international levels in the field of island doctors; As a means of communication and networking between teaching staff and researchers in the field of medicine and health, especially in the field of medicine; Increase the publication of medical and health research results from Pattimura University to be accessible globally.
